So I'm writing this post about Thoof. It's a new website where you can post stories and then it gives the story a rating and a little badge you can put on the story. So I picked a post I did and submitted it, then put the badge on the story. Then I changed my mind only now I can't edit the post. What is going on?? I was thinking this was a pretty cool little feature but now I'm not so sure. But to be honest I'm not sure the 2 items are related.
I'm going to write my post here then include the Thoof badge and see what happens to this post. I've checked all my other posts and they edit just fine. Hmmmm....... Kind of makes you wonder no???
Anyway, in theory this is a good idea. Readers submit stories and others can read them, in essence you get personalized news. There are all types of stories from all over the world covering all kinds of topics. It really does sound like a great idea. I guess we'll just have to see how it works though.
One of the things I really like about the web and blogging, etc is that you can read the most interesting stuff. People really are fascinating. The hard part is finding the good stuff. A site like this where people post interesting articles could be awesome.
The site is easy to use and the badge is a snap to create and post in your blog, that's easy. It's what the badge does to your post that's got me a little worried. I don't know exactly what happened but it's kind of bugging me.
We'll just see how it works okay.
