This sign is in front of a house down the street from me. That sign has been there since we moved here in 2006. I don't know why it's there. I don't know what it means. But I'm glad it's there. Every time I see it reminds me that every day, every moment is a new beginning. What you did just one second ago has no bearing on what you can do in one second from now. So just because something has always been one way doesn't mean you can't change it.
This year this is especially true. My career will be changing. My job will be changing. My family will be changing. And hopefully my home state will be changing. It's looking to be a very exciting year. Lots of changes and new experiences. I'm really looking forward to it. And as we approach Christmas that just means that the changes are that much closer.
What is that Chinese curse?? May you live in interesting times!! I guess it all in how you look at it whether it's a curse or not.
