It's not always perfect in Hawaii
After having living here for almost 20 years, I have to say that 99.9% of the time the weather is perfect. We get days where it rains a lot but that doesn't bother me, I love the rain. We also have days when it's darn cold for here and I complain a lot about them, but honestly it doesn't last that long and it's really not that cold. But yesterday was one of those days I really, really hate. We had no tradewinds and the temperature and humidity was up there. During the afternoon it was so hot there was nothing you could do. You couldn't move, you would sweat, and when you sweat it just stays on your body because the humidity is so high. It was miserable. I went to bed around 9 pm and had to take a cold shower to cool off and turn the ac on. These are two things I usually never do in conjunction with each other, but yesterday was special. I'm just hoping today isn't as bad. Right now it's pretty cloudy which at least keeps the sun out so I'm hoping it will be a little better today.
