Tomorrow it begins

Again.....  I went to Weight Watchers today and got all signed up.  I haven't done the program in over a year but it is basically the same.  I got all signed up and got the new material. I readover all the stuff and it really is the same.  But I got all my stuff ready and am going grocery shopping tomorrow.  I am ready.  I do need to find a couple of substitutes for things.  For example, I love yogurt but can no longer eat it due to lactose intolerance.  So I need to figure those things out.  But tomorrow I start tracking and journaling.  It will be interesting... I can't wait....

My goals for next week:
  • Track everything
  • Workout at least 30 minutes every day
  • Drink 8 cups of water

That's all. Not crazy or wild, just basic stuff.  Eat less, move more.  Here's to a good tomorrow.

I am seriously so done.....

I've really, really had it!!  This morning I saw the highest number on the scale I've seen in a really long time.  That's it...I'm done... Tomorrow morning I head back to Weight Watchers and set up some new rules around the house.  Since we've moved into the new house we have fallen into the habit of not eating dinner until 7 or 8.  That ends tonight.  We are both home by 4:30...there is no reason why we can't have dinner about 6 or 6:30.  That would give me 2.5 - 3 hours before I got to bed.  Also there will be no more dessert.  I have gotten into the habit of eating dessert most nights in the week.  I'm done with that..... Basically I have fallen into some really unhealthy, weight gaining habits and I need to do drastic things to shake it up and break them.  I said a couple of posts back that I think, sometimes, small steps are not the way to go.  Sometimes you need to make major changes and really shake things up to make an impact.  Well I'm making those big changes.  Starting today I'm dismantling parts of my life and rebuilding them the way I want them to be.  I'm angry and I'm going to change things.

I have thought for a long time about getting a game system like the xbox 360 or one of those. There are a couple of games I like that would be a great workout - like Dance Dance Revolution. But I don't know which games are for which system so I have to do some learning before I run out and buy one. Then of course there is the Wii Fit. I have some serious thinking to do.

But starting today things change.....

It's amazing the things you get used to. I am entering my 10th year of being a teacher and I honestly cannot remember how I worked all...
