He goes weirdo sometimes. he lives in Arizona so get to see him in the news a lot.

Your last paragraph about weird homeless people and you working in a lab totally made me think of zombie movies like Day of the Dead and Resident Evil. Made me laugh.Comm'shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01351781836311483147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8488136.post-1166874731940596362006-12-23T04:52:00.000-07:002006-12-23T04:52:00.000-07:00Someone finally speaking the truth! Its usually after something like this that I realize how much I agree with you. And that goes for affirmative action too. Our state passed the amendment to ban affirmative action. So what are the courts, universities, cities, etc. doing? Trying to sue the government. I thought voting gave people a choice. Have a great Christmas!Vickiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12302710072433158197noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8488136.post-1166843729333359432006-12-22T20:15:00.000-07:002006-12-22T20:15:00.000-07:00I'll try real hard not to be jealous that Ross lik...I'll try real hard not to be jealous that Ross likes you better than me!!!
Good thing you're so far away, I'd have to hop over and break your leg. ha ha just kidding of course.
Have a good run at the gardens this weekendsharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00085935630796026980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8488136.post-1166829557277255742006-12-22T16:19:00.000-07:002006-12-22T16:19:00.000-07:00Some of my most balanced and nutritious meals were...Some of my most balanced and nutritious meals were when I was poorest because I couldn't afford to waste money on chips, cookies, and anything pre-made.

I agree that people don't take enough responsibility for their health. But there's also an astounding amount of ignorance and rigid thinking as well.

I remember taking a college class with a woman who was "too busy" to cook. Yeah, she had a full plate as a single parent with a full time job and college classes. But how can you be too busy to dump a few things in a $15 crock pot and walk away? I can do that a LOT faster than I can get through the McDonald's drive through.

Ignorance and rigid thinking! And yes, laziness, too.

At the end, it's really a question of how bad you want it.

The only people who are really victims are the ones with medical problems that aren't of their own creation.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8488136.post-1166824375479075312006-12-22T14:52:00.000-07:002006-12-22T14:52:00.000-07:00You have the best blog on the internet, no offense...You have the best blog on the internet, no offense to my lovely Sharon. Just the right mix of stuff to keep me interested. And every now and then a rant nobody else gets to read but me.

I agree with you 100% about personal responsibility issue. I think it's the single biggest problem with our society. Almost every problem I can think of, on a personal level, societal level and a political level can be traced to a lack of personal responsibility. I galls me no end. My 11 year old daughter just started recently with "not fair, not fair". I came down on her harder for that than anything else in a long time. Sorry, it's your blog not mine.

I call it "getting out the door". If you can just get out the door to train you have the battle 95% won. Even if you go easy or do something off your plan, you have to get out the door.Rosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18283543245257592616noreply@blogger.com
