For the last couple of weeks I've been just bopping along not being serious about anything; not doing really badly but not doing great either. I have a goal and I am determined to reach it. My goal: 155lbs by New Year's. Yesterday I weighed in at 158, but I had been eating lots of salty things on Friday so I'm sure it's not really true. Yesterday I did fairly well. I took a 13 mile walk around Kailua and it was really nice. Last night my hips and right leg hurt but otherwise I felt fine. So today I'm taking off and resting so I can hit it full force starting tomorrow.
So, beginning tomorrow I will:
1) Exercise 2x every single day
2) Do weights 3x per week
3) Eat no more than 1500 calories per day
4) Log everything religiously
That's not that much to ask and not that much to do. I really, really want to start the New Year at a weight I haven't been at it years. I also want to make goal by my birthday but I'll worry about that later.
Okay, so today is a day of rest and planning. Tomorrow I go at it with everything I've got. I have completed a degree in a very tough field; I've completed a marathon; losing a few pounds in a few weeks should be a snap.
Okay, I'm ready to take charge and go full steam ahead.........
