A very productive day

Today has been good so far. I got up at 5:30 am on a Saturday to exercise. Then Charlie and I went to the Open Market and stocked up on veggies for the week. After which he went to work and I went to WW. That was not great, I was up again, but I kind of know why and I didn't let it stop me. After the meeting I went for a 6 mile walk; you realize of course that is just an excuse to listen to the Dark Tower. I generally listen in the car and at work in the morning before anyone else gets there. Since I'm on the last book I really want to get through it and see what happens; do ya ken??? After my walk I went to both Ross' and the mall and spent $10; that made me very happy. Although everytime I work it out I realize we will be fine finacially, I still sweat it because of the rental car and paying for my car repairs; that doesn't seem to stop me from spending sometimes though. Anyway, then I came home and had a big salad with tuna fish - it was awesome. I then sat my butt down, popped a CD in to the computer and got my bills all straightened out. I am so very, very pleased with myself. All I have to do now is get the taxes finished and I will be good to go. This is me doing the dance of joy. I have been putting this stuff off for weeks because I just didn't want to face it and, of course, it turns out to be not nearly as bad as I imagined it would be.

I will be making some New Year's resolutions this year. I want to really get my finances straight and start things like a retirement account.
