Day 3 and feelin good......

Yesterday I started to derail and was a little concerned. After I ate my breakfast I was still hungry and the only thing around here to eat was some cookies. So I had a couple (they are tiny nibbles). Then I had a couple more. Then I had a couple more.... Till I had eaten 15 of them. Okay, not the greatest move but they are tiny.....
Lunch went well so that was good. I left work early to go to the dr's for my ankle; 10 days after spraining it it still hurts like hell. Turns out though there is no serious damage just soft tissue injury - I will survive :) After the dr. I needed to get an ankle brace and so headed over to Longs. As I'm headed there I'm thinking about those Brach's circus peanuts, God I love them. I decided to get myself some. So I'm standing in the candy aisle looking at these peanuts and they only come in a 3 serving bag. Now I know I won't stop at 1 serving, I'll eat all 3. So I checked the nutritional info, the entire bag would have been 330 calories. I didn't want them that bad. So I cruised the candy aisle looking for something because I wanted something sweet. There are these new candy cookies like York and Reese's, so I looked at them and they are 300 per cookie - HELLO!!!!! All the candy I looked at was way too high in calories and fat. So, in a moment of triumph worthy of Rocky, I left without any candy!!! I was so proud of myself!! I did have some salty snacks when I got home but they were way less than any candy I saw..... I was stoked. I ended the day below my calorie level even with some ice cream for dessert......


Okay, enough. I really have to get to work; I haven't done a damn thing this morning yet......

 I fall into old habits pretty easily. I guess because they are something I'm used to even if they don't really work for me anymore....
