Down 2.6 lbs!!!

Wow. I wasn't expecting that. I knew I was down and I was feeling particularly thin but I had no idea it would be down that much. It really makes me stop and go "hmmmm" I didn't weight myself all week I went strictly by how I felt in my clothes. Now in the past that has backfired on me and weighing every morning has worked. I guess there are just different result for different situations. Sometimes one thing works sometimes something else does. I guess that's why this is considered a journey.....

I haven't blogged much this week and I'm not sure exactly why. Usually I don't post when things aren't going so well, but they've been going really good this week (as evidenced by my 2.6 lb loss). I have gotten up every morning and walked the dogs and they did aerobics or running. I realize now that I need to do aerobics; I just do. It's what works for me; always has and apparently always will. So I'm back to the Firm and loving it. I'm running on my off days though not so much as the ankle is still sore...

Today was my big exercise day and I decided to ride my bike to WW. I used to do this every other Sat. but somehow I got out of the habit and it's been a bear trying to get back into it. So I started planning for this on Tuesday; mentally preparing myself. When I woke this morning it was raining and I was bummed (so not riding in the rain). But after walking the dogs, showering and getting ready, the wind had blown all the rain clouds to the mountains so I was good to go. I left here at 7:12a.m. and had to be at WW by 9:00. I figured that gave me plenty of time to even stop at Starbucks. So I'm off. Made great time to Starbucks (50 mins) and got myself an oatcake. Then I'm off to weigh-in. Almost right outside the yacht club I get a flat tire. At first I was just going to walk to the meeting and then change my tire after. But then I thought, Charlie is right here. I'll drop my bike here, take his truck to the meeting and then come back and change the tire. So that's what I did and it worked out fine. It didn't take me 15 minutes to change the tire. Then I was on my way. I made it home in 1 hour 13 minutes and that included a "victory" lap through the park. So I'm pretty stoked. I did 30 miles in 2.5 hours for an average of approximatley 12 mph. Not great but I was super tired near the end and going slow...

Well, that's my life so far. I'm off to shower and maybe work on my website...

Faced my fears

So I mentioned that I had gotten some of the cups I ordered. They are Stanley dupes and have gold plating under the powder coating, so when...
