Coffee

I love coffee. I mean I REALLY love coffee. Sometimes nothing is better than a good cup of coffee. But I'm also discriminate. I won't drink just any coffee. In fact, I generally only drink one cup a day in the morning. That's the cup I need to get me going. If I do have another cup during the day it has to be good. Like Starbucks or something. I will not waste time or effort on nasty coffee. Ever. So I always have a coffee pot at home and coffee in the freezer. The other day Hubby said that someone had donated a coffee maker to the club but the club didn't want it, did he want it? I was like meh, but when he said it had an espresso maker I was sold. If there's something I like even better than coffee, it's espresso. So he brought it home and it's big and takes up a lot of counter space. It's rather complicated and I had to read the instructions to figure out how to make coffee. Yesterday I used it for the first time and all I can say is Oh! My! God! The coffee that comes out of this thing is so smooth and delicious. There is no after bite at all. It is absolutely awesome. I only put creamer in my coffee and you only need a little bit. It is so good. Here is the beast on my counter:

I have no idea what something like this costs. I just looked it up on Amazon and it's about $150 machine. But it is worth every penny. The coffee is so good it's not funny. I guess in some things it's worth it to spend the money and buy the best. Somethings you can get by with cheap imitations like an iPod or a purse. But other things it is worth it to go for the best you can afford, like rifle scopes or running shoes.

So, if you are looking for a really, really good coffee maker I highly recommend this one. Oh, yeah, and we are not even using expensive coffee. We just buy the coffee that's on sale every week. Luckily we live in Hawaii so Kona coffee is generally the stuff on sale. But still, I bet this could make Yuban or Folger's taste really, really good.
