Moving forward

Hmmm...that seems to be another theme with me. Anyway, now that a whole lot of that nonsense has been settled - at least for now - it's time to move forward and put this all behind us. Sidebar: am I wrong for not completely trusting these people? Am I wrong for thinking that their break with reality can happen again and that I need to watch for it? I got the impression that some people think I am wrong but am I really? Back on topic. Yesterday was a good day. Probably one of the best in a long, long time. I went to WW in the morning. Then cleaned the house and did some laundry. Spent the afternoon taking it easy - okay, napping on the couch. We walked the dogs, had dinner and watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes. It was really a great day and it felt awesome to be "normal" again. I'm looking forward to another nice day today.

I leave for Indianapolis in 3 weeks and I need to lose some weight so I can fit into some long pants I have. It's going to be cold there. Right now it's 32F with light snow. Hello!!! I'm from Hawaii!! I'm not going to last 10 minutes there. So I need to fit into at least some of my long pants. I don't want to buy new since I don't wear them much here. Towards that end, I will be following WW religiously for the next 3 weeks. Tracking everything I eat. Focusing on fruits and veggies. Weighing and measuring everything. If I can drop 5-7 lbs in the next 3 weeks, I will have 4 or 5 pairs of pants that will fit me. I get plenty of cardio between riding my bike to work and home and walking the dogs, but I need to add in some weights. I'm going to investigate some weight programs and try to find one that is not too long that I can do at night. I figure if I can do weights while I watch TV that should work.

Other than that, I need to finish the laundry, clean the bathroom, get clothes ready for the week - I have to iron my pants, I can not stand them when they are not ironed - and I think I need to get a nap in. Oh yeah, I need to find a vlc free download for my laptop. There are some things that won't play on my laptop and someone recommended that to me. I'll have to go research it and see if I can find it. Sounds like an awesome day to me..
