Four Peaks Thirst for Adventure Dinner

Last night a local brewery held a beer pairing dinner. It was in the mountains with Four Peaks in the background (that's what the brewery is named after) and it was lovely. We had 5 courses and 5 beers. When we arrived they gave us trail mix and some of their hard seltzers. It was really great. We sat across from a really nice couple and had a great time with them. Thankfully they were very friendly and easy to talk to so that helped make it enjoyable. I won a raffle basket. Woo Hoo!!! Some stuff from Zion National Part, a water bottle, coffee cup, and some books. It's really nice. That was such a great night. Really enjoyed it.

I was thinking about it though and I thought, we don't do things like this anymore. We have gotten into a serious rut with work and going to bed early and just not going out and doing much. As I thought this, I was like that's a bummer. Then, the more I considered it, I realized this is what I like. I like going to bed early and getting up early. I like being a daytime/morning person. So I don't really want to change. I do want to get out more and do things but that doesn't mean changing the things I like.

For example, even though I didn't get to bed until after 10pm and I woke up a few times during the night, I'm up and ready to go tackle my day. I'm going to walk Mavy and then go to the gym. Then I'm off the the tent sale at Roadrunner sports and possibly lunch after that. Who knows what the afternoon will bring.......

Okay, going to get moving before I fall asleep in my chair.
