And the saga of the leg continues

After my last post, things were good with the leg. I didn't have any pain for a few days. I was in heaven. On Friday I went to the gym and did my leg workout. Then I went to the chiro. My low back on the left side had been bothering me and I had like a pinching feeling there. He adjusted it and it felt great. Then, as the day progressed, my calf started acting up. My back felt great but the calf was tightening up. What????? Again, there was no pain, it just felt tight. It was hard to walk normally because of the tightness in the calf. I'm like, WTF???? But the back felt great. Does this mean I have to choose between back pain or leg tightness? Saturday it was the same. Tight but definitely not painful. Saturday was a rest day so I didn't use it much. Then Saturday night I did my stretches to see if that would help. It didn't. Yesterday it was the same, tight. We went over to friend's house and I just hung out in the pool and relaxed. It does feel better this morning. I'm wondering if it's the chiro or if it was the leg workout. I don't know but the thing is I'm not stopping. I have a feeling that the only way to really get this leg completely normal is to get it stronger. So I'm going to focus on that and as long as I have no pain I will carry on.

So this is the last week of summer break. It was a good summer. Probably one of the best I've had in a long time. I relaxed. Did some work. Did things I wanted to. Relaxed. Got back into working out. Yeah, it was good.

But now it's crunch time. I still have some things that need to be done, like write my syllabus......Ugh!! Can't believe I haven't written that yet. But I'm not stressing. It will get done. It always does.

That's about it. It is almost 5am and I'm going to walk Mavy and then head off to the gym. I want to continue the gym routine but I need to see what it's like super early. If it's quiet, I may go then one or two days a week. I have been going Mon-Tues and then Thurs-Fri, alternating upper and lower body. But that is not going to work. so I'm thinking of either Wed-Thurs and Sat-Sun, or Tues - Wed and Fri - Sat. I have a 7:30 am class on Tues and Thurs but none on Mon and Wed. The good news is that my 7:30 class is a repeat of the day before classes so things will be all set up and ready to go and I will know what I'm doing. I have also thought of Thurs-Fri and Sat-Sun. Not the worst thing to do but also not my favorite option.

Okay, time to go.

Another week down

Well the first week back from spring break wasn't bad at all. I was looking forward to the weekend though, so I'm very glad it'...
