That is the problem I am having with my laser journey. There are too many choices. Too many options. And I find myself getting pulled in all kinds of different directions. For example, I am doing a test burn on a piece of wood that I purchased through an online supplier. I only bought 1 piece of wood. And I am using it for a test burn. Really??? Does that make sense? I guess it does if I plan to buy more. But at this point I don't really. It's expensive. And maybe I will buy more if this thing takes off. Another problem with this is that I bought 3 pieces of wood from this place and I don't know which is which. So, yeah, there's that too.

What am I going to make? What am I going to use? And focus on just those things to start. I need to master one thing at a time and not get dragged all over the place. So that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to master wood. I would like to make earrings and layered stuff - like this:
I love these. I really like the animal ones and I'm going to try one of those next. I think they are just awesome. I want to make these.
I also want to make earrings but I want to include some acrylic in them for splashes of color. I've made a few earrings and they are cute, but I want them to be cuter.
So I'm going to figure out exactly how to cut and engrave the wood that I have the most of. I'm also going to figure out how to cut the vinyl that I do have. It's weird that I can't seem to cut it all the way through. I did get some information on how to cut it which I am going to try today and we shall see what happens. That is going to be my focus for the foreseeable future. One thing at a time.
Okay, I've been cleaning in between and I've lost the blogging bug.
