We got home on Thursday night. While I still am very motivated to workout and to stop feeling like crap, I haven't started yet and it is Saturday. We came home on Thursday night to a complete disaster with our pool and back yard. The people had come and put in our new patio floor and cool deck and my god, the yard and pool was a complete disaster. The pool ended up having to be drained, cleaned, and refilled. It took all day yesterday to drain and clean it. It required us to actually go down in the pool as it drained and wash all the stuff down. We also scooped up the crap and took it out in buckets. It was an all day thing. Then getting into the deep end was quite a challenge. That deep end is quite steep. Getting down there and out of there was fun. Thankfully, Hubby tied a rope to the patio post and we could use that to help us up and down. I went down there during the end because Hubby was hurting. I finished it up and headed out of the pool when I felt suddenly dizzy and nauseous. I had Hubby get my water and I had to sit on the steps. After a few minutes I was able to get in the house and cool off. Later in the evening Hubby started getting cramps and was in a lot of pain. We really have to be careful and remember that we are not 20 years old anymore. Anyway, that was our day yesterday. While I did walk in the morning, I didn't do much of anything else the rest of the day but work on the pool.
Today was a whole different story. I slept in - think I'm still catching up from the trip - and just could not get moving. I didn't even walk Mavy this morning. I did however, finally get my classes figured out. I went to look things over and ended up figuring out the things that were perplexing me. So while I did not get any workouts in, I did get some things accomplished. Then we had to go shopping and ended up at lunch, having a beer. Came home and jumped in the pool, that is still filling, and it felt amazing.
So I'm looking at starting my new routine tomorrow. Hubby will be golfing and I will have no reason not to get things rolling. I think the plan will be to walk and do Supernatural in the morning and lift weights in the afternoon. I am also going to log my food for the week. Even though I won't be changing my 'diet' I'm going to record it and see where I stand.
I did get on the scale this morning and the number hasn't changed although I feel like I've gained a ton of weight. My measuring tape has run out of batteries but I have ordered them from Amazon. I will take my official weight and measurements on Monday morning.
Okay, that's it for the moment. Tomorrow it all begins in earnest.
