I was going to ride my bike to WI today but I ended up having to go in to work so the bike was out of the question. I decided to do my usual walk only I was gonna run it. It's a 6 mile loop and it takes me an hour and a half to walk it. I ran/walked it and did it in 56 minutes. I was so excited I could hardly stand it. 6 miles in 56 minutes is 9.3 minutes a mile. That's incredibly fast for me. I'm really, really stoked....... I have a goal of placing 3rd in my next race, an 8k, and I would love to place 3rd in the Great Aloha Run. I am really beginning to think it's doable:)
