Have I told you guys about the fantastic oatmeal I'm addicted to??? I love to eat cereal in the mornings but it really doesn't love me. I like oatmeal but I can't eat any of those flavored ones due to too much sugar or they taste like crap and plain oatmeal gets really boring after a while. While looking through the new Clean Eating magazine (LOVE that mag) I found a recipe for oatmeal. I tried it and it's like crack. I am hooked and crave it. It's really simple and totally awesome:
1/2 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp almond butter
Mix together. Microwave for 1 minute. Stir. Microwave for 1 more minute. Enjoy.
This is so unbelievably good. The honey doesn't seem to have any affect on my blood sugar and that's the most important part. It is awesome. So, if you're looking for something different for breakfast there you go. You won't be sorry.
