Monday, monday

Yesterday I ended up doing intervals on the elliptical for 30 minutes.  I usually read while I ellip but yesterday I tried to watch those videos, no sound, and ended up turning on the TV.  There was a fascinating show on about JFK and I got really into it.  As a result I ended up working much harder and getting more miles on the ellip then I normally do.  After 30 minutes I was drenched with sweat and completely wiped out.  Hmmm......could reading cause me to go too slow??  Just a thought. 

Today I went running after work.  Woo Hoo!!!  That's really huge for me.  I am just not an evening worker outer. Generally if I don't get it done in the morning it ain't happening.  But there was a time when I did evening workouts all the time so I'm trying to switch.  I have too much to do in the mornings to try and fit an hour run in also.  The key, for me, is to have it set in my mind that I'm going to work out after work.  It can not be an option, it has to be set in stone.   So that's what I'm working on this week. 

Tonight I'm all alone and I don't know what I'm going to have for dinner.  Probably a nice stir-fry with some whole wheat pasta.   I love that and could eat it every day.  Okay, now I need to shower, I smell from my run.
