Nothing to say
Today I have nothing to say. So be prepared for some rambling. Yesterday I worked in here the entire day. I started cutting the sunflower. I am cutting that out of scraps that I have around. I did not have enough canary wood, so I used some basswood and I'm going to stain it slightly. The basswood is not that different in color from the canary, so that shouldn't be too hard. It is a different texture, so that will be a bit of a challenge. But I'll make it work somehow. I painted one of my 3-D prints also. I had a thought of doing it and decided to give it a try. I sanded the print a little to get the ridges off and painted it. It worked well. Who knew??? Oh, I made some other things too. I cut two small hexagonal shelf sitters. Then I cut a large, layered cardinal. All three need to be painted, which I'll probably do today. I did not go out in the garage all day. I had been chomping at the bit to test out my new planer, but I never made it out to the garage. Oh w...
